Last year, I conducted yet another one of my kitchen experiments and came up with what was my favorite drink of the holiday. I dubbed this drink Winter Wonderland. The recipe is pretty simple and it is sure to bring you a warm, fuzzy feeling at any given time of the day.
Let's get into a little bit of the backstory behind this sip of winter.
I love wine. When I say I LOVE wine, I mean it! We have a monthly membership to one of the my favorite wine spots in town -- Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants. I like sweet wines but believe me when I say, all of their wines are amazing.
Around this time last year, I selected Winter White as one of my monthly bottles. It was a sweet white wine that I like to say is lightly kissed with spices. However, the way I sampled it in the restaurant was warm. Yes, I had WARM WINE...and it was amazing!
Anyone who knows me knows I always have to put a twist on things -- even when it's fine the way it is. Take a look at the twist I put on my favorite winter wine that transformed it into my "Winter Wonderland".
