It's that time of year again when I make my eye exam and make a difficult decision between whether or not to use my benefits for contacts or glasses. Yes, I am dual wearer that refuses to get corrective surgery. Why? You only get two eyes -- well in my case, four *ba-dum-tsss*

Anyway, I've been wearing glasses since the 4th grade and I've been wearing contacts off and on since the 10th grade. I won't tell you how old I am now but just know it has been a lonnnnnnnng road with corrective lenses. While I still wear my contacts periodically, I've gotten to a place in my life where I'm just more comfortable with wearing glasses. So much so that I made the jump to daily wear contacts for the off chance that I don't want to look "studious".

Speaking of looks that is another one of the reasons I haven't gotten my vision corrected. I bounce back and forth between wanting a glasses look and a glasses-free look -- and I don't want it bad enough to wear fake glasses. No shade to the folks who do that but it's just not my style *shrugs*

Back to what I was saying --

I'm getting ready to make my eye appointment and I've been eyeing these Warby Parker** frames. The thing is, I need to be able to try my glasses on to see how they look on me. A virtual try-on just isn't going to cut it because I need to be able to see, feel, and wear the glasses to get an accurate vision of how they may work for me.

Lucky for me, Warby Parker offers a free try-at-home program. You don't even have to leave your home to pick out your new look! So, I bit the bullet and decided to order five frames to try on from the comforts of my own home. I like them all so I'm going to need your help to choose. Let me know which frame is your favorite in the comments!

Don't forget, I need your help to choose! Let me know which frame is your favorite on me and I may end up choosing that frame for my next pair of glasses! While you deliberate on your choice, you should also know that Warby Parker just dropped their new Super Concentric Collection.

With the allure of Italian craftmanship, the Super Concentric Collection definitely caught my eye. I'm actually really sad that this collection dropped before I placed my Warby Home Try-On order. However, the good thing is that I can always place another Home Try-On order and so can you -- for free.

One you pick a frame or two that you like, the first thing you need to do is make note of the style. After you return your frames within 5 days, you can begin the ordering process. Have vision coverage? No worries! You can use vision insurance* and even your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) dollars with Warby Parker.

Now that you've learned about how Warby Parker works, take the below steps to get started!

  • Schedule Your Eye Exam

  • Place your Home Try-On order for free

  • Choose the frame(s) you like

  • Order your glasses, most of which start at just $95 for a complete pair

  • Rock your new specs!

*Warby Parker accepts select vision insurance plans with UnitedHealthcare, VSP, Cigna, EyeMed, DavisVision, Aetna, Spectera, Humana, BCBS Anthem, and NVA.
